| This Gallery documents the First Nelson Mandela Festival which took place on the occasion of Mandela's 90th Birthday between the 18th and 20th of July 2008. It was organized by the Werkstatt der Kulturen and the Embassy of South Africa in Berlin in cooperation with the Open Air Cinema Hasenheide. AfricAvenir was one of the main media partners.
